The Hallmark Channel’s newest film, ”An Uncommon Grace,” will be showing at the Capitol Arts Center in downtown Bowing Green. Produced by George Shamieh, this is the first movie filmed in Hart and Barren counties since the formation of the Southern Kentucky Film Commission. Watch to recognize any local spots! The movie, based on the book “An Uncommon Grace” by Serena B. Miller, is a murder mystery with a romantic twist, the tale of a military nurse returning home from Afghanistan who falls in love with an Amish man. Branscombe Richmond, an actor and stuntman who’s appeared in “License to Kill,” “Commando,” and the short-lived ABC series “Hawaiian Heat,” is both Associate Producer and a stuntman for the film. The Southern Kentucky Film Commission hopes to attract many more films to be shot in south central Kentucky.
