Driven by the belief that ballet is for everyone, performances appeal to newcomers and seasoned balletgoers alike. The company attracts many international artists and is composed of renowned professional dancers representing over ten countries.

Founded in 2000 as the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Kentucky swiftly overcame early challenges with local support, evolving into a thriving ensemble. Incorporating diverse musical genres, including classical, show tunes, bluegrass, and innovative pieces, led to increased season ticket sales, budget growth, and expanded attendance.
The orchestra, under Music Director Jeffrey Reed’s consumer-oriented approach, emphasizes entertainment and education. The mission, “Changing lives… one note at a time,” is achieved through accessible and enjoyable programming that resonates with audiences.
