Louisville Kentucky’s Speed Art Museum is featuring three areas of online content: Museum from Home links you to Speed’s collection, Speed Cinema Streaming provides links and film recommendations from Speed’s Curator of Film Dean Otto, and Art Sparks from Home provides a variety of ways for children and families to explore artworks together. Through Art Sparks from Home, Speed shares instructional videos for art projects that can be completed using materials around the house. Also available are coloring pages that can be downloaded and printed. There is also a variety of artwork activity sheets that provide prompts for close looking and conversation about artworks in Speed’s collection, as well as instructions for an extension activity that will help bring the artwork to life.
