Important Message to our Valued SKyPAC Patrons

Post By: The SKyPAC
Date: March 16, 2020

To Our Valued Patrons:

As mandated by the Warren County Fiscal Court, SKyPAC and the Capitol Arts Center will have no public events until after Friday, April 10th. In addition, both buildings will be closed to the public. This includes the Ticket Office at both locations, although staff will be present to answer the phones. The SKyPAC Board and staff believe this is the correct course of action considering the increasing risks of potentially spreading the COVID-19 virus through public gatherings.

For those who have tickets to events within this time frame, there will be several options for patrons to consider. In the meantime, we ask for your patience and understanding while we work through this challenging time.

We are attempting to reschedule most of our main events at the SKyPAC facility and the Capitol Center. Once the rescheduled dates at SKyPAC are announced, our customers will have the option to attend those rescheduled performances or choose other options listed below.

There are nine events at SKyPAC and the Capitol through April 10th. Please see below regarding the status of each event:

South Arts Film Series: Picture Character (SKYPAC) – Tuesday, March 17 7:00 PM  (CANCELLED)

BGHS Presents Les Miserables (CAPITOL) – Friday, March 20 through Sunday March 22 (RESCHEDULING)

New tickets will be mailed.

For those events that are successfully rescheduled, we will notify ticket holders about the new date, at which time they may decide whether the changed date will work for them. If patrons elect to attend the rescheduled date, new tickets will mailed or available at Will-Call. If patrons decline attending the rescheduled date, the following options may be exercised:

  • Exchange your tickets into any event later in the 2019-2020 season. All exchange fees will be waived. Any difference in ticket prices will either be refunded or paid by the customer depending on the price of the ticket.
  • Exchange your tickets for a gift certificate, which can be used at any time.
  • Donate your tickets, and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value. Ticket donations can be made by calling 270-904-1880. Your donation will be vital in helping us continue our important education and outreach programs.
  • Receive a refund for the value of the ticket.

Once  new dates have been determined, we will reach out to you.

If you have further questions, you may call the Ticket Office at 270-904-1880 or email us at info@theskypac.com. Please bear in mind that because of the high volume of calls to our ticket office, there may be lengthy wait times or you may be forwarded to voice mail. We will respond to voice mails as soon as we are able.

OUR WEBPAGE WILL BE CONTINUOUSLY UPDATED AS NEW INFORMATION IS RECEIVED ON EVENTS BEING RESCHEDULED OR CANCELLED.

On behalf of all of us at SKyPAC, we extend our sincere apologies for the disruption to your plans to attend a performing arts event at SKyPAC or the Capitol Arts Center and trust you understand this decision was made with this community’s best interest at heart. And once again, thank you for your patience as we go through this difficult time for the community as well as the country. We hope you and your family will stay safe and healthy, and we are looking forward to serving you again in the future when better times are upon us all.

Thank you.
